Photoshop Green Screen Notes

Open Photoshop and open your Green screen image saved to S drive\ Mr. Pries

Unlock layer at the bottom right with a double click on it and answer ok. (this is an extra step that was not explained in class yesterday. This allows your image to be on a clear background without a colour.)

Using eraser tool erase area around feet and below green screen

Use magic wand tool and delete to remove area around cutout. Adjust tolerance at the top to allow tool more depth. Usually around 75%

Can use marquee tool and delete to remove large areas.

Zoom in to do an accurate cutout.

Open Google Images/ advanced and select large free background. Save to your profile in your tech/ Photoshop folder.

In Photo-shop select file open and browse to the new background in your tech/ Photoshop folder

Open, unlock layer and select whole area area with your Marquee tool.

Select Edit copy. Alt tab to green screen image and edit paste it on

Move image on top of new background. Resize and position

Save as Greenscreen Cutout in your tech/ Photoshop folder
